Common lip concerns include:
Ageing – Resulting in thinning of the lips, dehydration and loss of definition. This may be associated with ‘lipstick bleeding’ down vertical lines
Unbalanced lips –For a perfect pout the ideal ratio is lower lip 55-60% versus upper lip 40-45%.
Thin lips – Some people naturally have very thin lips with little definition.
For this treatment a local anaesthetic cream, injection or combination of both is used to numb the lips. Dermal filler is then injected to give you the result you desire, this can be just to the vermillion border of the lip (if you only want to increase definition but not size) or injected into the body of the lip as well as the border. All treatments are tailored to your wishes.
Small volumes are injected to give a natural look for both lip enhancement and lip reshaping. If needed more filler can be added on subsequent visits. Results are instantaneous however you will need to wait for the swelling to go down before assessing you new lips. Expect swelling for the first 12-24 hours and some bruising, which can be covered by makeup.
Only non-permanent fillers are used. Results last up to 18 months.
You will be able to return to work the next day.

“I went to visit Mark to have fillers put in my lips. He made me feel at ease and explained everything to me. He was so pleasant and nice and I didn’t feel pressurised into going ahead with the treatment, although I did. On my follow up appointment I decided to have filler for my marionette lines and I am very happy with the results. I will definitely be seeing Mark again for further treatments.”
